Meet the Counselors

Mrs. Lakisha Charles

Hi there! My name is Lakisha Charles, and I am so excited to be working with Pre-K, Kindergarten, 2nd, and 3rd grades this year! I graduated from the Unsinkable Albany State University with my bachelor’s degree in psychology and received my masters in school counseling from Capella University. Prior to school counseling I have worked with children on the Autism spectrum providing behavioral therapy, interventions, and support in a clinic setting.  I have a passion for helping children adjust and adapt to new environments, explore social skills, regulate emotions, and reach their full potential.  Empathy, compassion, critical thinking, and guidance are just a few of the tools we use to help each student reach their individual goals.  

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, trying new foods, and binge watching my favorite shows and movies.  Ms. Quick and I look forward to working with students and parents this year to best meet your needs.  Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us!

Mrs. Ayesha Quick

Mrs. Quick is a native of North Carolina. She received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington.  She received her M.Ed. in School Counseling from Georgia State University.
Mrs. Quick enjoys graphics design projects, arts & crafts, traveling, and shopping.
Professionally she is a member
of the American School Counselors Association and
is a National Board Certified School Counselor.
